Rawls en Wall Street

Steven Mazie escribe en el New York Times sobre la protesta que sigue instalada en Wall Street. El filósofo que le hace falta al movimiento es John Rawls, sugiere. El teórico de la justicia simpatizaría con los manifestantes. El reclamo de la igualdad no tiene que recurrir a una inspiración ajena al liberalismo. Si los señores del té encuentran inspiración en Hayek y en Ayn Rand, los ocupantes de Wall Street deberían transformar la Teoría de la justicia en panfleto.

En algo o bastante son Rawlsianos de los de John Rawls. Pero esto es más grande, y hasta tienen algo de Rawlsianos pero de los de Lou Rawls, cuyo título de canción de despecho aplica a Wall Street: Your Good Thing (Is About To End).

Ellos exigen todo, que los tiempos cambien. Dylanescamente exigen igualdad política (no se ha sabido que sea social o económica). La abolición de primeros y últimos, arriba y abajo, centro y periferia, abusadores y abusados. Y parece muy esperanzador que se trate de revueltas clasemedieras. No se trata de excluidos sociales, de los olvidados como redentores y pregoneros de la revolución gustarían de señalar. Incluidos denuncian.

ES DEJA VÚ, Dylan pero con otro tinte, todos iguales, no tanto revolución.

Igualdad política es como un velo de ignorancia.

La meta pudiera llegar a ser un liberalismo clásico clasemediero en un capitalismo clasemediero y democracia clasemediera…
